Anjuelle Floyd
Everyone is doing the best that they can. It’s not always easy to see this. Life can be challenging at best and drain hope from their lives at its worst. When individuals are able to hold themselves in the best light, life and the world take on greater meaning and purpose. The speaker works to help clients accept that they are doing their level best while facilitating them to develop more self-compassion. Accepting oneself without judgment allows individuals to see the gifts that they are and use their challenges as points of growth.
Using a psychodynamic framework, the speaker incorporates unconditional positive regard with affective deepening and expression towards the larger goal of developing greater self-trust. They validate clients’ experiences and honor the emotional truth that resides in each individual from the perspectives they hold regarding the experiences they have undergone.
The speaker holds a MFA in Creative Writing and is an abstract painter. They are accepting clients with Aetna and Oskar Insurance at Headway.
